She worked as a cook in Montezuma, Hillside Estates and Marengo Hospital. She enjoyed being outdoors, flowers and birds. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 am on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg. Bev. Richard Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-4 pm at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. A general memorial fund has been established.
