Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem following several years of declining health, and graduated to the church triumphant. Mrs. Fletcher was born September 9, 1930 in Surry County to the late Etta Jones Moore and Dwight L. Moore. She was married to James R. Fletcher of Boonville, who preceded her in death in March, 1986. Read More	CLEMMONS — Mrs. Bonnie Moore Fletcher, formerly of Boonville, passed away August 15, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem following several years of declining health, and graduated to the church triumphant. Mrs. Fletcher was born September 9, 1930 in Surry County to the late Etta Jones Moore and Dwight L. Moore. She was married to James R. Fletcher of Boonville, who preceded her in death in March, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Audrey Moore of Mt. Airy; sister-in-law Hilda Christian Moore of Mt. Airy; brother-in-law Lathan Fielding (Junior) Smith of Raleigh; brother-in-law Russell M. York of Mt. Airy; and nephew Larry Christian Moore of McLeansville. Mrs. Fletcher attended High Point College and was retired from the Northwest N.C. Regional Library. She was a longtime devoted member of Boonville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, J. Louis (Libby) Fletcher of Lincolnton, and R. Lawrence (Robin) Fletcher of Advance; granddaughter, Lauren F. (Joel) Crotts of Mocksville; grandsons, J. Ross (Lindsey) Fletcher of Cornelius, Patrick L. (Lauryn) Fletcher of Huntersville, and Joseph L. (Jordyn) Fletcher of Lincolnton; great-granddaughter, Tatum Sommer Fletcher of Cornelius; brother, Wade Mitchell (Magdalene) Moore of Mt. Airy; sisters, Carolyn M. York of Mt. Airy and Frances M. Smith of Raleigh; sister-in-law, Nancy F. Reece of Boonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, August 18, at 3 p.m. at Boonville United Methodist Church with Rev. Jenny Stewart and Rev. Dana Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Boonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boonville United Methodist Church, PO Box 178 Boonville, NC 27011. The family wishes to thank the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, especially Jennifer Collins and Richard Funk for all the love, care, and support given to Mrs. Fletcher and the entire family. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Fletcher family.
