Born February 21, 1933, Gaffney, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Charlie Mullinax and the late Ellen Mullinax, and was the wife of the late Edward Hope Mullinax. She is survived by two sons, Archel Mullinax and wife Derenda and Charlie Mullinax and wife Connie, both of Gaffney; daughter-in-law Carol Ann Mullinax of Gaffney; grandchildren, Cindy Mullinax, Gary Mullinax, and Lindsay Mullinax-deborde; and nine great-grandchildren. Born February 21, 1933, Gaffney, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Charlie Mullinax and the late Ellen Mullinax, and was the wife of the late Edward Hope Mullinax. She is survived by two sons, Archel Mullinax and wife Derenda and Charlie Mullinax and wife Connie, both of Gaffney; daughter-in-law Carol Ann Mullinax of Gaffney; grandchildren, Cindy Mullinax, Gary Mullinax, and Lindsay Mullinax-deborde; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Mullinax was preceded in death by one son, Ted Hope Mullinax. Memorial Services for Mrs. Mullinax will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 2:00 pm, in the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, McKown's Mountain Road, Gaffney, S.C., conducted by the Rev. Tommy Wright and the Rev. Mickey Mullinax. Burial will follow the service in the Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery, 339 Sardis Road, Gaffney, S.C. Visitation for Mrs. Mullinax will be held on Friday evening, April 6, 2012, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home, 211 East Frederick Street, Gaffney. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Casey Bolin Fund, Act A7 at the 1st Piedmont Bank or to the Hospice Care of South Carolina, 612 North Limestone Street, Gaffney, S.C. The family will be at the home of the son, 358 Rolling Mill Road in Gaffney. Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home in Gaffney, S.C. is entrusted by the family for the care of Mrs. Mullinax.
