Stanley Bryant, died on October 10th at the Conway Hospital from the effects of injuries received when the car in which he was riding, was struck by Troy Graham, an Horry negro taxi driver. The wreck occurring on Sunday night before. Mrs. Lula Bryant, wife of Boyd Bryant, was still considered in a dangerous condition but was improving at last accounts. It is hoped she will survive. The young baby of the Bryants was in the car at the time of the accident and was seriously hurt. Funeral services for Mr. Bryant were conducted on last Monday at Baker's Chapel, nine miles from Conway, services beginning at 2:30 p.m. Bryant is survived by his father, three brothers and three sisters. Troy Graham was not badly hurt when he wrecked the car he was driving. He is in jail. Troy Graham sideswipted another car just before he hit the car in which Bryant was riding head on. According to some witnesses he was driving at the rate of 65 or 70 miles per hour. Knowledge of the death of her husband is being kept from Mrs. Bryant. This paper was in error in stating last week that Mr. and Mrs. Bryant had four children involved in the wreck. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant have only one infant.
