Description	:	Platt graduated from Iowa State in 1923 with a B. S. in civil engineering. He joined the ISC staff in 1936 as superintendent of buildings and grounds and in 1945 became business manager and secretary of the college. He was vice president of business and finance from 1958 to 1966 when he became planning coordinator for the office of business and finance. Survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, and eight grandchildren.	Platt graduated from Iowa State in 1923 with a B. S. in civil engineering.
