The Rev. Thos. O'Dowd celebrated the Requiem high Mass, with St. Mary's choir singing the responses. Father O'Dowd also preached the sermon and read the prayers for the dead. Rev. W.A. Walsh was present in the sanctuary. Burial was in St. Bernard's cemetery near Millersburg. Rev. Walsh conducted the services at the grave. Bridget Donohoe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. .... ..??.. Donohoe was born in Dayton township, May 1, 1869 and passed away March 25, 1943. For nearly thirty years she taught in the rural schools in Iowa county. She was a lifelong devoted member of the Catholic church. During her long illness she was a patient sufferer. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary, who died in infancy and Hannah; two brothers Timothy and Patrick and her parents. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Sarah McGarry of Victor and Mrs. Wm. Neal of Williamsburg, two brothers, Thomas and John of the home, and numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. To the bereaved sisters and brothers the community extends sincerest sympathy.
