Description	:	Boone County Democrat February 1, 1917 Thursday, January 25th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Carver, 1427 Greene street, occurred the death of Mrs. Bridget Rogers. The funeral was held Saturday last from the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Rev. Father Barron officiating, and the remains laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. She came to America in 1848. She was married to Patrick Rogers in 1853 in Boston, Mass. To this union were born six children, John of Boone, Mrs. Alice Carver of Boone, Bridget McEleny of Lyons, Iowa, Mrs. Margaret McCoy of Jamaica, Iowa, and Mary and Edward, deceased. Her husband also preceded her in death in 1888. In 1877 she moved to Iowa, living on a farm 9 miles north of Boone until 4 years ago when she came to this city where she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Alice Carver, until her death. Deceased was a highly respected and worthy woman and her death is regretted by a host of friends and neighbors.
