The funeral service was held Wednesday with burial in Prospect Hill cemetery. "Mrs. Woodbury was born in Pittsburg, Pa., in 1859, going from there with her parents to St. Paul, Minn. when a young girl. There she was married sixty years ago last January to Warren L. Woodbury, and in 1888, the year of the historic Nebraska blizzard, the young couple moved to Knox county. They were delayed in reaching their destination because of the heavy snow everywhere, and had to cross the Missouri near Niobrara. For many years,she and her husband farmed near Center, with oxen doing the work during the first years. They made their home in Center for thirty-one years, moving there when the town was first built. They came to Norfolk to live three years ago." She was survived by her husband, 2 sons: Warren, Guy both at Norfolk; 6 daughters: Mrs. Nellie Scofield at Tobias, Nebraska; Mrs. Alice Larsen, Miss Lulu, Mrs. Julie Johnson, Mrs. Myrtle Kellogg all at Norfolk; Miss Mary Woodbury at Chicago. She was preceded in death by 1 son Daniel about a year ago. Pallbearers were six grandsons: Malvin, Marien, Thayne Johnson; Marven Larsen, Warren, Harold Woodbury.
