Drive, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at the Hospice Of Laurens County Home in Clinton. A native of Spartanburg County and the husband of Brenda K. Trammell of the home. He was the son of the late Brooks and Ruth Brewington Trammell. Mr. Trammell was of the Methodist faith and a skidder operator with Larry Penland Logging Company. In additional to his wife of the home, he is survived by a son, Dean Trammell and wife Patti of Union; a daughter, Sheila Caugham of Laurens; four brothers, Lecil Trammell of Cross Anchor, Marvin Trammell of Clinton, Jimmy Trammell of Buffalo and Ronnie Trammell of Tennessee; five sisters, Thelma Jennings and Sara Faye Woodard of Clinton, Virginia Wright of Cross Anchor, Nancy Pike and Merl Burke, both of Enoree; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one grandson raised in the home, Ronnie Trammell. He was predeceased by a son, Donald R. Trammell; brother, Ernest Trammell; and a great-granddaughter, Heather Brooks Trammell. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Stribling Memorial Chapel, conducted by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Interment will follow in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family is at 120 R.T.S. Drive in Laurens. An online guestbook is available at www.foresthillsfuneralhome.net.
