Read More	Bruce Andrew Marlowe died January 21, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, Iowa. Bruce was born December 12, 1946 to Frances (Pat) and Andrew J. Marlowe. He grew up in Low Moor graduating from Central DeWitt High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration, majoring in accounting in 1970 and a Master of Business Administration in 1971 from the University of Iowa. He married Sherry Creps in Eldora, Iowa June 6, 1970. He began his career at Clinton Corn Processing in the accounting department. He was named Chief Financial Officer of Jane Lamb Hospital in 1974. He was Administrator of the DeWitt Community Hospital in 1986. With the merger of the two Clinton Hospitals he became Chief Financial Officer and later Chief Operating Officer. He spent over 32 years in service to the hospitals of Clinton. Bruce was Past President of the Clinton Library Board, Past President of the Concerned DeWitt Citizens, Past President of the Iowa Hospital Financial Management Association, Past President of the Skyline Center Board and Jaycee Boss of the year. He had attained Life Master status in bridge, ran the Boston Marathon, biked across the State, traveled the world and was an avid Hawkeye fan. He was a Big Ten Track official and an I-Club member. He is survived by his wife, two daughters Dr. Megan Marlowe of San Antonio, Texas, Andrea Marlowe of Baltimore, Maryland; one son, Michael Marlowe, a student at Coe College, and his mother, Pat Marlowe of Clinton. Funeral services will be 10:30 on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at DeWitt United Methodist Church. Rev. James Kledis will officiate. Memorials may be left to Mercy Healthcare Foundation, Clinton, Iowa. Private family burial will be in Eldora Cemetery, Eldora, Iowa. Pallbearers will be David Mayberry, Robert Carber, James C. Bagley, Dr. Steven Hanas, David Weiskircher and Ronald Kircher. Visitation will be 1:00 until 8:00 p. m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. (Source: Schultz Funeral Home)
