Mr. Jessip was born 5 June 1932, in Sioux City. He attended Sioux City public schools & was a lifelong resident. He married Pauline (Wilcox) Verbeski on 5 May 1965, in South Sioux City, NE. An entrepeneur, he was a painter & tree trimmer. He also owened & operated The Bait Shop for many years. He served in the U.S. Army & Marines. Survivors include his wife, Pauline; 2 sons, David & Darin Jessip of Sioux City; a daughter, Pam Jessip of Atlanta, GA.; 7 step-sons, Bob, Ray, Ron, Don, Rick, Randy, Dan; 5 brothers, Jack, Doug & Gail Jessip, all of Sioux City, Clifford & Clark Jessip, both of CA.; 3 sisters, Vivian Trobaugh & Eunice Husk, both of Sioux City & Joy Meyers of MN.; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister & 1 son. Pallbearers will be Gail Jessip, Ron, Rick, Don, Ray & Dan Verbeski.
