Read More	ASHTABULA — Brynn Louise Hall, age 71, of Ninety Road, died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Cleveland Clinic after a long battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis and more recently, Aplastic Anemia: the same condition that took her sister Haila’s life in 1970 at age 29. Being so, she donated her bone marrow and blood for research on this rare blood disease so that she may help others. She was born Dec. 29, 1943, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Fred and Naomi (Olin) Bottorf and had been an Ashtabula resident most of her life except for her time in Florida from 1975 to 1995. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a truck driver for Belcher Oil. Being one of the first female truck drivers, her career took her on many adventures across the country and she became well respected by her mostly male counterparts for her ability to operate the “Big Rig” 18-wheelers. Brynn was clever and feisty and possessed a marvelous sense of humor up to her last breath in spite of the many trying circumstances she faced in life. For this, she will always be an inspiration and remembered as a hero by her family. A devoted animal lover, she was blessed with two wonderful canine companions, Buddy and Baby. She had a great appreciation for and loved the little things in life, such as going to garage sales with her dear cousin, Jayne Visnosky, and vanilla soft serve ice cream cones which she never turned down. Her smile always grew listening to her son play the guitar (especially Garth Brooks’ “The Dance”). She also enjoyed cooking shows and was very handy, finding ways to make just about anything functional. Her survivors include the children, Brock (Terry) Taylor of Geneva, Kimberly (Michael) Rivera of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and George Taggart of Ashtabula; three grandchildren, Gary Girard Jr., Matthew Shadow Petrie, and Mark Prieto; two brothers, Barrie Bottorf of Ashtabula and Roger Bottorf of Geneva; one sister, Holly (Richard) Watson of Ashtabula; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Ashley, Haila Payne, and Dorothea Durst; and her parents. A Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30th, at Maple Grove Cemetery, State Road, Plymouth Township.
