He was born June 9, 1907, the son of, Olander and Selma Mollerstedt Pearson. He received his education at the Davenport Schools, graduating from high school with the class of 1925. In the 1930s he moved to California to make his home where he operated a gas station for several years. Read More	Burdette Pearson died at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Harvard Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 26 days. He was born June 9, 1907, the son of, Olander and Selma Mollerstedt Pearson. He received his education at the Davenport Schools, graduating from high school with the class of 1925. In the 1930s he moved to California to make his home where he operated a gas station for several years. He then began employment with the Solar Aircraft Company in San Diego, and worked there until his retirement in 1975. In 1976, he moved to Hastings to live and later to the nursing home in Harvard. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include three brothers, Gerald of Edgar, B. I. Hastings and Edmund of Novato, Calif. The funeral was Friday at 2 p.m., at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel, Edgar. The Rev. Donald Hunzeker officiated and burial was in the Edgar Cemetery. Mr. Pearson was born June 9, 1907 at Ong. He moved to California in 1940 where he was employed by Solar Aircraft in San Diego. He retired in 1975 and moved back to Nebraska in 1976. He is survived by three brothers Gerald of Edgar, B.I. of Hastings and Edmond of Novato, Calif. Hastings Tribune December 6, 1984.
