Read More	BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES !OBITUARY: Atlantic News Telegraph, Atlantic, Iowa Crozier, Byron David May 19 1986; Byron David Crozier, 92, retired Anita area farmer, died early Saturday morning at his home 21 2 Elm in Anita. Mr. Crozier served in the Army during WW I and farmed in Lincoln Township until retiring in 1962 and moving to Anita. The son of Thornton A. and Laura Belle Fast Crozier, he was born Jan 9,1894, southeast of Anita and attended the Eureka Township School in rural Adair Co., . His marriage to Lena Aupperle took place May 28, 1919 in Atlantic. Surviving are two sons, Ralph L. Crozier and his wife, Virginia of Adair and, Leonard Crozier and his wife Betty of Bridgewater; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are four sisters in law, Kathryn Newcomb of Milwaukee Wis. Mrs. Gerald Dora Beatty of Prescott, Mrs. Robert Esther Johnson of St George, Utah, and Mrs. Paul Edith Czar of Pittsburg MO. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; four brothers, Charles, Jesse W, William I. and Floyd H. Crozier; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Herrick and Mrs. Tressa Aupperle; and a granddaughter, Carol Kay Crozier. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, with Rev Max Hall of the Anita United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita. A visitation will be held from 7-8 Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. David Highfill sang "In the Garden" and "How great Thou Art: Mrs. Kenyon King was organist. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fulk, Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Ohms were in charge of flowers. Casket bearers were Dennis Hoffman; Gregory Ronald, Galen, Thomas and Norman Crozier. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery near Anita.
