He graduated from Bismarck High School. He worked at Oscar H. Will Co. in Bismarck, where he met the love of his life, Lorraine Joyce Flegel. They were married July 7, 1956. Read More	Calvin Jose, 81, Bismarck, passed away March 12, 2016, at the Baptist Health Care Center. Calvin was born on August 9, 1934, in Zap, ND to Carl and Marth (Ost) Jose. He graduated from Bismarck High School. He worked at Oscar H. Will Co. in Bismarck, where he met the love of his life, Lorraine Joyce Flegel. They were married July 7, 1956. He then joined the U.S. Army and was stationed at Ft. Pierce, in Tacoma, WA. At the end of his service, they moved back to Bismarck and he became employed with the US Postal Service, where he was a letter carrier for thirty years until his retirement. He spent a few years in the Army Reserves and also loved the time he was in the Honor Guard of the AmVets. Calvin and Lorraine loved spending their weekends playing whist or pinochle with friends or going out dancing. He loved traveling and took his family on many memorable trips and retiring let him travel whenever he wanted. He was also active for years in bowling leagues and fast pitch softball. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor and how he could make everyone smile and laugh. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Byron) Hahn, Bismarck, Pam (Jeff) Feist, Bismarck, Tracy Jose, Fort Walton Beach, FL; granddaughter, Briana Sandrik, Bismarck; brothers, Dick (Bernie) Jose, Bismarck, Ralph (Darlene) Jose, Fargo; sister, Betty Ann, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bismark Funeral Home Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lorraine and brother, Harold.
