Anderson was one of three people shot and killed Thursday morning at a Lewiston residence. She was born April 9, 1968, in Susanville, Calif., to Charles and Claudia Zook Anderson. In 1970, the family moved to Couer d'Alene and later to Pocatello before moving to Moscow in 1976. Anderson attended Lena Whitmore Elementary School, Moscow Junior High School and graduated in 1986 from Moscow High School. While in high school, she was nominated and her name appeared in the national Who's Who directory, and she was a cheerleader for the wrestling team. After high school, she worked as a nanny in the Seattle area for five years while attending classes at Bellevue Community College. She had lived at Lewiston for the past 1 1/2 years and had been employed at First Security Bank. She recently started working at Costco as a vault teller. Anderson enjoyed art, music and sewing and played on a softball team in Lewiston. She was especially fond of children and was an avid recycler. Survivors include her parents, Charlie and Claudia Anderson of Moscow; two brothers, Chad and Curt Anderson, both of Moscow; a sister, Casey Anderson of Lewiston; and grandparents Helen and Lee Zook of Story City, Iowa. The family suggests memorials be made to the Moscow Special Olympics, 823 East E St.; Moscow 83843, or to the Cami Anderson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Moscow High School, in care of Denise Connally, P.O. Drawer B, Lewiston 83501.
