He was an EMT/paramedic and district chief of Lake-Sumter EMS; and enjoyed carpentry and spending time at his family's cabin in North Carolina. Survivors include his wife, Toni M.; son, David Jr., Tavares; daughter, Robin Price, Leesburg; parents Darwin and Lori, Leesburg; brothers Darwin "Donny," Lake City, Derek, Lady Lake; sister, Lori Sue McLaughlin, South Daytona; and three grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to a trust account at any United Southern Bank branch or mailed to USB, c/o John Jones, P.O. Box 1925, Eustis, FL 32727.
