Mosher; two daughters, Isabelle and Elaine; two brothers, Aubrey, Middle LaHave; Mark, Saint John; four sisters, Mary (Mrs. H.D. Hirtle), Halifax; June (Mrs. Raymond Shankle), Worcester, Mass.; Janet, Middle LaHave; and Edith (Mrs. J.M. Wallis), Digby. Rev. L.G. Bald conducted the funeral service on Saturday. Captain E Corkum Dies at Lunenburg - Lunenburg - Jan 9 - Following a sudden stroke of paralysis, there passed away at his home a well known skipper of the Lunenburg fishing industry in the person of Captain Corkum, aged fifty years. Captain Corkum was a son of the late Mr and Mrs Leander Corkum of Middle Lahave, Lunenburg County. Some years ago Captain Corkum removed to Lunenburg where he had a new home constructed. A few years ago he was compelled to retire from sea-going and had taken up the insurance business. In both of his vocations he was an esteemed and respected citizen. In his immediate family he is survived by his wife, ond daughter Isabel; three sisters, Edith (Mrs J J Wallis), Digby; Mary, married and living in Halifax; Miss Janet Corkum, Lunenburg; and two brothers, Aubrey of Middle Lahave, and Mark, residing in the U S A. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon and the service will be conducted by Rev L G Bald of Zion's Lutheran Church of which he was a member. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
