Date: Between 1820 and 1830 4. a. Owners: Captain Wyatt Camden... about 1820. b. Mr. E. E. Miller, grandson of Captain Camden, who is present owner. 5. Description: This home was built sometime between 1820 and 1830 by Captain Wyatt Camden, who was a captain in the War of 1812. Captain built this house and took up his abode there in his early married life. The way the place derived its name was by the wife of Captain Camden. She planted a long row of Aspen trees along one side of the yard, then gave it the name of Aspen Hill. One of these is still standing. The land on which this house is built is a portion of a boundry granted to a Mr. Davis from the English Crown. 7. Art: 8: Sources of Information: Informant: Mr. E. E.
