Description	:	Albert Carlson, one of Boone County's well known young farmers, passed away Sunday morning at the home of his sister in this city, after an illness lasting several years. The Carlson family has been sorely bereaved the past year; father, mother and one daughter dying within that time. Last spring the seven year old (sic-3yrs) daughter, Elsie, was stricken with pneumonia; later the mother was attacked with appendicitis which proved fatal under an operation. Read More	Albert Carlson, one of Boone County's well known young farmers, passed away Sunday morning at the home of his sister in this city, after an illness lasting several years. The Carlson family has been sorely bereaved the past year; father, mother and one daughter dying within that time. Last spring the seven year old (sic-3yrs) daughter, Elsie, was stricken with pneumonia; later the mother was attacked with appendicitis which proved fatal under an operation. Since that time Mr. Carlson has been rapidly failing, the grief resulting from the loss of his wife and daughter was such that all that sympathizing friends could do was without avail. Two small daughters are left to mourn the loss of parents and sister. Mr. Carlson was considered one of Beaver township's shrewdest and most prosperous farmers, and had health favored him he no doubt would have in reasonable time accumulated much of this world's possessions. He owned the farm on which he resided and took much interest in enterprises in the community in which he lived. He leaves two daughters, Bessie, aged nine, and Gladys, aged seven, four sisters, Mrs. A.L. Olson, of Odebolt, Ia., Mrs. Levi Swanson, of Beaver, Mrs. Anna Rudesill of Milaca, Minn., and Mrs. William Ellsberry of Ogden. Albert Carlson was born in Grant Township Boone County, Iowa, July 13, 1878, and died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Wm. Ellsberry, in Ogden, Sunday morning, December 20th, aged 36 years, 5 months and 7 days. On April 1st, 1904 he was married to Regina Olson of Sac County. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, interment at Glenwood beside his wife. Ogden Reporter
