Description	:	Completed business college in Oslo Norway before joining the British Merchant Marine. In 1910, he came to the US and learned telegraphy at Enid, Okla. In 1911 he began a 45 year career with the railroad. Carl married Bessie Ziegler in 1917 at Great Falls. He transferred from Pendroy to Choteau in 1946 and retired 10 years later.
