Description	:	Carl H. Grosenkemper, 83, of Titusville, Fla., formerly of Fort Madison, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2002, in Florida. He had been in declining health since 1994. Born April 18, 1919, in Fort Madison, he was the son Charles T. and Catherine Pollpeter Grosenkemper. He married Marjorie L. Miller on July 1, 1948 in Fort Madison. Mr. Grosenkemper lived in Fort Madison for 61 years before moving to Florida in 1980. He worked the former True Temper Co. in Fort Madison and then for Consolidated Packaging, Inc. of Fort Madison until he retiring in 1979, with 23 years of service.... Read More	Carl H. He was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Madison. He loved farming and doing his own carpentry work. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, of Titusville, Florida; 2 nephews; Doyle Hoyer, of Fort Madison and Alan Keener, of Titusville, FL; 2 nieces; Connie Barnes and Miriam Owen, Both of Fort Madison, Iowa, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rex (June) Keener of Titusville, FL; and a brother-in-law A.J. (Sonny) Solheid, of Fort Madison, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 infant brother, Paul Grosenkemper, and 4 sisters, Josephine Grosenkemper, Viola Hoyer, Adeline Solheid and Louise Grosenkemper. The funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. at Barr Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Parlette officiating; Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
