Description	:	Carl Stroschein, whose sudden death was mentioned in last weeks TRIBUNE, was born in Province Osen, Germany in January, 1845. He left the fatherland in his youth and settled at Oshkoas, Wis., where he resided until about 12 years ago, when he came to South Dakota and settled on the farm where he made his home until the time of his death. Read More	Carl Stroschein, whose sudden death was mentioned in last weeks TRIBUNE, was born in Province Osen, Germany in January, 1845. He left the fatherland in his youth and settled at Oshkoas, Wis., where he resided until about 12 years ago, when he came to South Dakota and settled on the farm where he made his home until the time of his death. He was married in Wisconsin and to this union were born eleven children, of whom ten and a sorrowing wife survive him, one child having died in infancy; one son and two daughters are married, Oscar of Dempster, Mrs. Gust Shultz of White, and Mrs. Mike Brandt of Havana, the other son being Paul, Charley, William, Albert and Arthur, and the daughters are Olga and Elsie, who are still at home with their mother. In speaking of Mr. Stroschein we can say he was a kind father, an upright and honest citizen and neighbor, never refusing to lend a helping hand to a friend and neighbor when in need, no mater what it might have been if it was within his power to help he was always there. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wolff of Goodwin, a short service being held at the house. From there the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery t that place. To the sorrowing widow and children is extended the sincere and heartfelt sympathy of the whole community. When we leave this world of changes, When we leave this world of care, We will meet our missing loved ones In our Father's mansion fair.
