Survivors include his companion, Peggy Wilson of Fairfield; 2 daughters: Joyce and husband Scott Brobston of Norwalk, Iowa, Nancy and husband Carlos Cline of Jesup, Iowa; 1 step son: Shawn Wilson of Burlington, Iowa; 1 son-in-law: Gary Watson of Fairfield; 2 sisters: Bettye Coffin of Indianola, Iowa; Bonnie and husband Bob Devlin of Nixa, Missouri; 1 half- sister: Mary Katherine Box of Fairfield; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded per Mr. Barr's wishes and a private family service will be at a later date. Carl was an organ and tissue donor. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
