Miss Worley lived with her parents at Campbell during her childhood days and received her grade school education at that place. Read More	Obituary courtesy of York News-Times: Carol Irene Worley was born in Campbell, Nebraska, December 13, 1926 and departed this life November 23, 1948, at York General hospital having attained the age of 21 years, 11 months and 10 days. Miss Worley lived with her parents at Campbell during her childhood days and received her grade school education at that place. When she was thirteen years old, her parents moved ot Inavale, Nebraska where Miss Worley received a portion of her high school training. In 1942 her parents moved to Hastings and Miss Worley was permitted to finish her high school education in Hastings high school, graduating from that institution in 1945. Miss Worley met Edward Throne in March 1947, and they were united in holy matrimony on November 9, 1947 in the Church of the Nazarene of York. To this union one child was born, Duane Keith, at York hospital on November 11, 1948. Mrs. Thorne was a faithful and esteemed member of the Church of the Nazarene and knew Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was a faithful attendant to the services of the church. Surviving are her husband, Edward, son Duane; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Worley of Middletown, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Ellison of Geneva and Miss Vera Worley of Middletown; three brothers, Glen of Torrington, WY.; John and Bob of Middletown, her grandmother, Mrs. Hannah Worley of North Platte, Nebraska. Mrs. Thorne leaves other relatives and a great host of friends who deeply mourn her passing.
