Description	:	Carol L. Negley, age 71 of Fremont, died at home early Tuesday June 8, 2004. She was born May 23, 1933 at Wahoo, NE to Ewalt and Nettie (Hanke) Hageman. On March 9, 1955 she was married to Roger K. Negley at Ashland, Nebraska. She was a 1954 graduate of the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Nursing, a member of the Fremont Church of the Nazarene, attended BSF Bible Study for many years, and was a member of the County Extension Club in Ithaca. She was born May 23, 1933 at Wahoo, NE to Ewalt and Nettie (Hanke) Hageman. On March 9, 1955 she was married to Roger K. Negley at Ashland, Nebraska. She was a 1954 graduate of the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Nursing, a member of the Fremont Church of the Nazarene, attended BSF Bible Study for many years, and was a member of the County Extension Club in Ithaca. Carol was passionate about her flower garden in which she grew many types of flowers. Iris and Lillies were her favorites. She often pressed flowers from her garden and framed them with a special poem or bible verse. She also displayed her artistic abilities in other ways especially in her charcoal drawings and paintings in oil pastels. Carol enjoyed watching the various birds which came to her backyard to feed. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger K. Negley and grandson Kearney Negley. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Scott and Connie Negley of Ithaca; daughters and sons-in-law Cynthia A. and John Ostry of Nickerson NE, Pamela L. and Sam Craytor of Bastrop TX, Andreanna K. Negley of Austin TX, and Jennifer J. and Tony Perez of Austin TX; brother and sister-in-law Ewalt and Lillian Hageman of Ithaca; sister and brother-in-law Annette and Mauritz Swanson of Silver Springs MD; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday June 14 at the Fremont Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Tom Shaw officiating. Honorary Casket bearers will be Westley Negley, Christopher Mills, Linzy Cox, and Dakota Perez. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Sam Craytor, Matthew Abel Craytor, Timothy Negley, Addison Negley, Miles Negley and Quintin Negley. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday 2-7 p.m. at the church. Interment will be Monday 2:00 p.m. at the Indian Mound Cemetery in Ithaca. Memorials may be made to the Fremont Church of the Nazarene.
