Description	:	Carol L. Holtz Dec 16,1933-May 1981 Carol Holtz, 42, city clerk here since June of 1978, died in the Niobrara hospital. Memorial service was conducted at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Harrison. Carol Lee Jordan was born December 16, 1938, to Dan and Velma Jordan, area ranchers. She lived her entire life in the Lusk area, attending elementary school at the Indian Creek School and graduating from Niobrara County High School with the class of '57. She helped organized the Niobrara County Alumni Association, was a member of Cow Belles and various other clubs. She was a long-time member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lusk. Mrs. Holtz went to work for the Town of Lusk in July of 1976 and later became clerk. Prior to that she was employed by the ASCS and Niobrara Electric Association.
