Mr. Haselden was born a son of Alfred Manning "Bubba" Haselden and Myrtle F. Brown Haselden on April 6, 1944, in Florence. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School; a retired electrician working for such companies including Badger R. Bazen Co., Fluor Daniels Co., and Wellman; a member of the Johnsonville Masonic Lodge 365, the Winyah York Rite and the Omar Shriners: and was a member of the New Hope Free Will Baptist of the Pentecostal Faith. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish; was a devoted husband and cherished father; and a loving "Granddaddy Shot" who always had time to care and support his grandchildren. Shot and Faye were married on August 12, 1966, and celebrated 46 years together. From this blessed union were born: three sons, Mark Wade (Shannon) Haselden, Calvin Dale (Kaylea) Haselden, and Scottie Ray (Denise) Haselden; seven grandchildren, Avery, Marlea, Kirsten, Gracyn, Coyt, Madelyn, and Allyson. He leaves behind: one brother, Ronnie (Annie Raye) Haselden; two sisters, Myrtle Lee (Wayne) Cooper and Margie Ann (Dennis) Black; and his extended family including, Delorese Haselden, Sylvia Haselden, Harvey Campbell, Carolyn (Norman) Poston, Roberta Barfield, and a large number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Melanie Bothe. He joins his awaiting loved ones: his parents; his parent-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Campbell; two brothers, Roger Haselden and Freddie Haselden; extended family, Donnie Campbell. A Home Going Celebration will be 3PM, Sunday, August 5, 2012, at the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Faith with interment in the church cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
