Description	:	Rites Thursday for Mrs. Morris Funeral services for Mrs. William Morris of Brewster will be held at 2 pm today (Thursday) at Community Log church, Brewster, with the Rev. R. B. Glessner officiating. Interment will follow at Bridgeport cemetery, where she will be laid to rest near the graves of her parents. Graveside services will be conducted by the Order of Easter Star. Mrs. Morris died early Tuesday at her Brewster home. "She had been in apparent good health until the time of her death. Mrs. Morris was born Lena Peterson at Spirit Lake, Iowa, in 1887. She was 73 years old. At the age of one year she moved with her family to the Waterville area, where home became a dugout ranch house. In 1908 she was married to William Morris and they made their home on Pearl Hill, where they operated a store until 1913 when they moved to Bridgeport until 1927, when they moved to the present home in Brewster. Mrs. Morris was baptized a Lutheran but had attended the Log church in recent years. She was a member of Puritan chapter 144, OES, Bridgeport. Survivors are her husband, William, at the home; two children, Hugh of Bridgeport and Rachel Washburn of Bridgeport Bar; seven grandchildren, Ron Morrison Brewster, Hal Duane Morris of San Francisco, Rhonda Sue Morris of Bridgeport, Carolyn Washburn Lucas of Ellensburg, Bill, David and Larry Washburn of the Bar;l and six great-grandchildren, Randy, Ricky and Rance Lucas of Ellensburg and Jed, Ted and Sherry Morris of Brewster.
