Description	:	Caroline Roberts, daughter of the late Ole and Mary Midgorden was born April 19, 1889, at Hills, Minn., and passed away at Chariton, March 3, 1950 at the age of 60 years, 10 months, 12 days. She was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 10 years. She came with her family to Lamoni in 1903, where she resided until moving to Chariton with daughter Geraldine in 1946. She was united in marriage to James A. Read More	Caroline Roberts, daughter of the late Ole and Mary Midgorden was born April 19, 1889, at Hills, Minn., and passed away at Chariton, March 3, 1950 at the age of 60 years, 10 months, 12 days. She was baptized a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 10 years. She came with her family to Lamoni in 1903, where she resided until moving to Chariton with daughter Geraldine in 1946. She was united in marriage to James A. Roberts May 30, 1909, and to this union were born 5 children: namely, Geraldine of the home, Floyd of Lamoni, Lois (Mrs. William K. Estes) of El Dorado, Ark., Marilyn (Mrs. E.N. Sargent of Falls Creek, Pa., and Ardis (Wei Victor White) of Lamoni. She also leaves to mourn besides her children, 2 granddaughters Andrea and Tamara Sargent, and 2 grandsons, Gerald Roberts and Michael Herbert White, 5 brothers and 2 sisters, namely Melvin, Oscar, Joe, Leonard, Alvin, Clara, and Nellie Mldgorden, besides numerous other relatives and friends. Her father, mother, and 2 brothers, Silas and Dennis, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held from the Marsh Funeral Chapel, in Lamoni with Elder J. C. Cackler preaching the sermon and Elder Dare Taylor of Chariton, Iowa assisting. Burial was at Rose Hill. __________ CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our deep appreciation for the many kind acts and words of sympathy extended to us in our recent bereavement, the death of our mother and sister, also the floral tributes and to the groups who served dinner.
