Description	:	Caroline Korb was born September 17, 1901, to Gottlieb and Dorothea Korb in Butte, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Theodore Niemann on March 25, 1920. They began farming in the Gregory area and moved to White River in 1927. They returned to Gregory and farmed until their retirement in 1964. Caroline died June 15, 1989 at the Gregory Hospital. Funeral services were held on June 19 at the United Methodist Church in Gregory with Pastors Bert Van Essen and Rick Butterbaugh officiating. Caroline was preceded in death by her husband; an infant daughter, Violet Jane; five sisters, Margaret, Emily, Martha, Leah and Katherine; one brother, Edward Korb.
