Description	:	Caroline Mae Harrington was the daughter of John Tyler Harrington and Hannah Amanda Ellsworth. Her paternal grandparents were James Harrington and Mary Haws. Caroline first married John Albert Dollar at Iron Mountain, Michigan on 4 November 1900. After the murder of John Dollar at Fort Casey, Mae married William N. Cook of Island County, Washington. They were married at Everett, Snohomish County, Washington on 20 August 1907. Markus Wangsness and Gertie Harrington, Mae's sister, witnessed the ceremony. Robert was born at Caseyville, Lincoln County, Mississippi on 28 March 1880 and died on 8 February 1956 at Port Townsend. The 1920 federal census for Fort Flagler taken 6 January 1920 indicates that Mae Cook, a post mistress, and a widow is living with John Cook and Geraldine Cook, her children. John Cook, born about 1903 in Michigan and Geraldine Cook born about 1905 in the U.S. In 1930 Robert and Mae were living in Port Townsend. Robert was stationed at Fort Warden. In 1935 Robert was in the Army, stationed in Hawaii. They were living in Honolulu. In 1940 Mae and Robert Garland were living in Irondale, Jefferson County, Washington, near her son Harold Dollar who operated a Dollar's Garage in Port Townsend. The children of John Dollar and Caroline Harrington were: 1. John Harold Dollar (1903-1982) 2. Gareldine Mae Dollar (1904-1991) (Harry Frederick Rice) (Malcom Russell Roger) The son of Gareldine Dollar and Harry Frederick Rice was Harry Dollar Rice. Harry Dollar Rice was born on 15 October 1926 in Seattle and died on 17 June 2004. He married Esther Christianson. The son of Harry Dollar Rice and Esther Christianson was Harry Nicholas Rice. Harry Nicholas Rice was born in 1951 and died in 1970. He was attending the University of Kansas at the time of his death.
