Description	:	Mrs Caroline Koch, an aged resident of Marshall county, passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs Fred Hannusch. Mrs Koch was born in Germany, January 6, 1851. She came to America with her parents when she was six years of age and they made their home at Fort Madison. She was married to George Koch August 24, 1871. They moved to St Anthony about fifty-three years ago and lived on a farm and also in town. Read More	Mrs Caroline Koch, an aged resident of Marshall county, passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs Fred Hannusch. Mrs Koch was born in Germany, January 6, 1851. She came to America with her parents when she was six years of age and they made their home at Fort Madison. She was married to George Koch August 24, 1871. They moved to St Anthony about fifty-three years ago and lived on a farm and also in town. She is survived by five children, Mrs Fred Hannusch and Albert Koch, St Anthony; John Koch, Marshalltown; Mrs Matt Mehlon, McCallsburg and Fred Koch of Keister, Minnesota. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Church of Christ in charge of Rev P F Dennis of Marshalltown. Mrs Ella Frohwein, Mrs Martin Mehlisch, Mrs Edgar Fricke and Marie Koch, granddaughter of Mrs Koch, cared for the flowers. The pallbearers were Ed Flanigan, William Lyons, Ed Guy, Frank Bryant, Carl Damman and August Schaper. Those from a distance in attendance at the services were Mr and Mrs Fred Koch and daughter Celia of Keister, Minnesota, Mrs John Nesson of Toledo, Ohio, Mr and Mrs John Koch and daughter Marie and Mrs Edgar Fricke of Marshalltown and Mr and Mrs Leonard Weatherly of Tama.
