She was married to Alfred Williams April 15, 1852. To them were born five children, the oldest Margaret ---, who passed away in 1857, Mrs. Jeanette Young, who died November 16, 1904, Mrs. George Hull who resides in Boone, Daniel Henry, who passed away March 11, 1911, and Callie, who has always resided at home with her mother and cared for her. She leaves to mourn her death beside her two daughters, 13 grand children and 9 great grand children and an aged brother in Mound City, Kansas, beside a host of relatives and friends. She had been a resident of Boone county for more than fifty years and resided at Elk Rapids, Madrid and Fraser, from which place she passed away Wednesday evening, March 22. She was a sweet, lovable woman and to know her was to love her. This makes it doubly sad for the bereaved ones as less than a week ago they buried their brother. The funeral services were held from the home in Fraser Friday at 2:00 o’clock p.m., conducted by the Rev. Charles Davis. The house was filled to overflowing with the man y friends and neighbors, showing the esteem in which she was held. The remains were then taken to Boone Saturday morning on the Interurban car and from there to Madrid over the Milwaukee where they were met by their many friends. The remains were then taken to Elk Rapids cemetery, three miles west of Madrid, and laid to rest beside her husband. A token of esteem in which she was held in Madrid was shown by their services in the singing and the entertainment of the friends from Fraser. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of all who know them.
