The funeral service will be Thursday, December 24, 10:00 A.M. at St. Luke's United Church of Christ with Rev. Chris McArdle officiating. Interment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Gass Haney Funeral Home and on Thursday from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. at the church with a family prayer service at 9:45 A.M. Carolyn was born March 27, 1943, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Allan and Alice (Nyffeler) Blaser. She attended school in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1961. On July 26, 1965, Carolyn was united in marriage to Dale Skinner in Columbus. Carolyn helped raise her four step children and worked at Dr. Irwin’s office as a dental assistant. She later helped farm with her father and also worked for a short time at KFC. Carolyn was an active member of St. Luke’s Church. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her roses. She also liked her bird feeders and her dog – Rosie.
