McLean and wife Frances of Iowa City; and a sister-in-law, Mary McLean of Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Lee and Margaret Jean Roberts McLean; and three brothers, Dennis John, James Eldon and Jack Edwin McLean. Born Feb. 9, 1937, in Iowa City, Iowa, she married Marion Benson Eden on Sept. 2, 1958, in Lone Tree. Carolyn was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Lone Tree. She taught sixth grade Sunday school for three years, was on the U.P. Church Deacon Board in 1995, 1996 and 1997, serving as greeting card ministry secretary, and was U.P.
