Carolyn was born in rural Albion, Nebraska on September 30 ,1928 to Frank B. and Ada M. (Anderson) Hutmacher. She attended school in Albion and Mead, Nebraska. In 1949 Carolyn married John (Bill) Hudson, and remained his devoted and loving wife for 58 years. Carolyn was born in rural Albion, Nebraska on September 30 ,1928 to Frank B. and Ada M. (Anderson) Hutmacher. She attended school in Albion and Mead, Nebraska. In 1949 Carolyn married John (Bill) Hudson, and remained his devoted and loving wife for 58 years. As a military wife Carolyn had the opportunity to live in England on two occasions, where they made several life long friendships. Carolyn and Bill moved to Barstow in 1967 with their three children, Crystal, Greg & Ron. A talented artist, she created many beautiful forms of art that will be treasured by her family for generations. Over the years Carolyn and Bill opened their home and hearts to many young people who needed a place to stay and someone to love and care for them. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and brother Frank C. Hutmacher of Mead, Nebraska. She is survived by her husband Bill of Barstow, Ca., daughter and son-in-law Crystal & Wilford Sanchez of Costa Mesa, Ca.., son & daughter-in-law , Greg & Brenda Hudson, of Hesperia, Ca.,son & daughter-in-law Ron & Theresa Hudson of Helendale, Ca.and daughter-in-law Laura Hudson of NY, as well as 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Carolyn devoted her life to daily bible reading and prayer. She served the Lord well by being a servant to others. Her family was blessed by God to have had her in their lives, she will be greatly missed. In order to spread the word of Jesus Christ, in lieu of flowers the family requests that all memorials be given to the Gideons. Checks may be made payable to the Marine Memorial Chapel, Marine Corps Logistic Base, Barstow, Ca. 92311. Bibles will be printed and distributed in her loving memory. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Marine Corps Logistics base Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2007, at Sunrise Cemetery in Wahoo with Rev. Chip Borgstadt officiating.
