She was born January 15, 1933 in Harvey, IA to Casper and Pauline Redding Lautenbach. She married Perry E. Jeffers on November 7, 1952 in Oskaloosa and he preceded her in death on January 13, 1997. Surviving are her children, Mary (Kenny) Simmons, Lynn (Paul) Stevens and Paul (Susan) Jeffers, all of Ottumwa; 6 grandchildren, Sara (Emery) Glosser, Nick (Jill) Simmons, Cassie Stevens, Haley Stevens (Andy Ham), Samantha Jeffers and Payton Jeffers; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dannie Lautenbach (Rose White) of Harvey and John (Esther) Lautenbach of Pella; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Lautenbach of Pella. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Larry Lautenbach and a sister, Pauline McCombs. Her body has been cremated. A time for friends to greet her family will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home. A private graveside service and inurnment will be in Shaul Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice serving Davis & Wapello Counties.
