Description	:	OTTUMWA-Carolyn Joyce Fiedler, 72, of 437 S. Moore, died at 1:30 a.m. October 31, 2014 at home. She was born June 9, 1942 in Ottumwa to Rev. Henry and Ardes Pauline Hartsock Gruwell. She married Leonard L. "Mugs" Fiedler on August 28. 1960. A graduate of Eldon High School, Carolyn was a homemaker. She was a member of Miller Chapel and Merry Maids 4-H Club. Surviving is her husband, Leonard; three sons, Rev. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Fiedler Sr.; a grandson, Zachary Curtis Guffy; and a great-grandson, Corbin James Fiedler. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Fiedler officiating. Burial will be in Fiedler Cemetery. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to Hospice serving Wapello & Davis Counties, 927 Pennsylvania Ave., Ottumwa, IA 52501
