Description	:	Mrs. Carrie Lou Nesmith Haselden, age 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 25, 2012, at her daughter's home in Myrtle Beach. She was the widow of the late Edward P. "Dick" Haselden. Born March 19, 1921, in Nesmith, SC, she was the daughter of the late George B. Nesmith and the late Eula Von West Nesmith. Mrs. Haselden was a graduate of Indiantown High School and retired from General Telephone Company after 20 years of service. Read More	Mrs. Carrie Lou Nesmith Haselden, age 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 25, 2012, at her daughter's home in Myrtle Beach. She was the widow of the late Edward P. "Dick" Haselden. Born March 19, 1921, in Nesmith, SC, she was the daughter of the late George B. Nesmith and the late Eula Von West Nesmith. Mrs. Haselden was a graduate of Indiantown High School and retired from General Telephone Company after 20 years of service. She was a member of Hemingway First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School, sang in the Church Choir, and delivered Upper Rooms to families and businesses. Mrs. Haselden loved painting, photography, and embroidery. She loved her hometown of Hemingway and missed all the wonderful people there. Survivors include her son, Edward P. Haselden, Jr.; daughter, Carol Anne H. Moore; grandchildren, Gerald E. (Cindy) Moore, Sean Haselden, Phillip Haselden, Kelley K. (Nannette) Moore, Danny C. (Leslie) Moore, Steven Haselden, and Dyana Michelle Haselden; many great and great-great grandchildren; two nephews; sisters-in-law, Lois Haselden and Betty Hartung; and her beloved kitty "Angel". Mrs. Haselden was predeceased by sisters, Olivia Carroway and Mary Catherine Hannah; and brother, Liston Nesmith. Funeral services, conducted by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Hemingway First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Saturday, October 27, 2012.
