Read More	Page County, Iowa death record Geer, Carrie, died Jul 29, 1919 Grant Twp; born Apr 16, 1872 Ill; father John Seward born Ill; mother unk born Ill; buried Yorktown SHENANDOAH WORLD, Shenandoah, Iowa, August 1, 1919 - Mrs Ed Geer died Monday evening at 6:30 at her home six and one-half miles east of the city, near Norwich, from blood poison caused from a small infection upon her hand. Mrs Geer came with her husband from Illinois and they have resided on their present farm the past twenty years. Her death was quite sudden, she being sick but about three days. She was 47 years, 2 months and 13 days old at the time of her death. Her husband, nine children, three sisters and one brother survive her. The children are Arthur, Mary, Edward, Willard, Blanche, Etta, Rosa, Florence and David all of whom live at home except Arthur, who is married and resides in Clarinda. The funeral was conducted at the home Thursday afternoon by Rev E.L. A pimple which appeared upon her hand became infected and the infection spread so rapidly throughout her body that it could not be checked and resulted in death.
