Description	:	(KS) Republic City News Dec. 12, 1918 Carrie McClain Sholl, daughter of John J. McClain, was born at Bennett, Nebr., July 30th, 1891 and died December 7th, 1918 at Belleville, Kansas. She moved with her parents to Table Rock, Nebraska, where she entered the public schools and pursued the course of instruction until she was graduated at the age of sixteen years. She also received a teacher's certificate upon her graduation. She was converted at the age of fifteen years and received into fellowship of the Christian church at Table Rock, Nebr. McClain, was born at Bennett, Nebr., July 30th, 1891 and died December 7th, 1918 at Belleville, Kansas. The deceased was united in marriage July 11, 1910 to Henry Sholl of Hubbell, Nebr., where they resided until they moved to Byron and he died there in February, 1915. She is survived by her parents, a sister, a brother and many dear friends. Mrs. Sholl was operator at the telephone office in Republic for some time and was always obliging and courteous to all patrons. She was a woman of winsome personality and among her friends was known best for her desire to help and to sacrifice in their stead. The funeral was held from the home of her parents conducted by Rev. Paul Peterson of Byron and interment in the Hubbell cemetery.
