Description	:	DEATH OF C.J. CROOKER - Carroll J. Crooker, a resident and worthy citizen of Amherst, died at his home in Dist No. 8, on Tuesday. He has been a great sufferer from a kidney disease for some years. Although able to be out of doors the day previous, yet his sudden death was not altogether unlooked for. Mr. Crooker was an industrious, hard working man, a kind neighbor and thoughtful husband and father. He is survived by a widow and three children.
