He was born October 14, 1924 in Eureka, Calif. He moved from Alturas to Yreka in 1952, where he was owner/operator of Jolley's Club Saloon for 27 years. Carroll was married to Carol Kemp and the couple made their home in Yreka. He was a member of the B.P.O. In addition to his wife, Carol Pepperdine of Yreka, survivors include a son Terry Pepperdine of Paradise and a daughter Karen Riordan of Maxwell; brothers Milo Pepperdine of Likely, Phillip Pepperdine of Fallon, Nev. and Nolan Pepperdine of Sacramento, five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nelda, in 1983. Funeral services were held in Yreka June 24, with interment following at the Evergreen Cemetery. -- Obituary
