Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Beatrice Dow, sisters Madeline Cummings, Bertha Rickard, Blanche Mazerall, brother, Dennis Dow and mother-in-law Ethel Cummings and father-in-law Waldo Cummings. Dearly remembered by his nieces and nephews and their families. In his retirement, Lewis enjoyed spending time at the cottage with his wife, as well as cutting wood from his wood lot. A special thank you to the Doctors and staff of St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital for their dedicated care. Family and friends will gather at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial Dr. and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until the Celebration Service in Our Chapel at 3:00 p.m. His urn will be interred at the Lower Meductic Cemetery in New Brunswick at a later date. For those wishing, donations to the UHKF Palliative Care of St. Mary’s of the Lake would be appreciated by his family.
