Case Corwin Geidl, the son of Max E. and Ida Dodge Geidl, was born May 2, 1905 in Parkston, S.D. His childhood years were spent in South Dakota and then Sioux City, where he received his early education. Case married E. Faye Kirkpatrick in May 6. 192S in Sioux City Following their marriage they moved to Florida, where he worked for Coca Cola Bottling Company. They later moved back to Sioux City in 1932 and later moved to Spencer in 1939. While in Spencer, he was a manager for Johnson Laundry, which is now A & M Laundry. He later worked for H & N Chevrolet in the parts department and later in bookkeeping, until his retirement. Throughout his retirement, he operated a furniture repair shop. He also served as lay minister in several churches in Clay and Dickinson County. He was a member of the Nazarene Church. Mr. Geidl passed away at Northshire Residence in Spencer on August 6,1993. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one sister and six brothers. He is survived by one son and his wife. Burdette and Vivian Geidl of Spencer; one daughter and her husband, Joy and Rhodabelle Bisaillon of Spencer; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister.
