Description	:	Casper Brankle was born in Ohio, one of twelve children of John and Rachel Brankle, and when he reached the age of 21, he moved to Windfall, where he has spent the remainder of his life. Mr. Brankle was twice married. The first time was to Miss Catherine "Kate" Mooney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Mooney, on December 8, 1877, and to them was born one son, Charles. Wednesday August 9, 1933 The Kokomo Tribune Kokomo, Indiana · Page 11 Casper Brankle, age 83, died at 12:30 p. m. today at the home of his sister and brother. Miss Elizabeth and Frank Brankle, after a serious illness of three weeks. Death is said to have been caused by heart trouble. He was taken to their home yesterday from his rooms at a local hotel. The deceased was born in Ohio, the son of John and Rachael Brankle, and was one of eleven children. He was an active member of the Baptist church and the Odd Fellows lodge. Surviving with the brother and sister at whose home he died, are five other brothers and sisters, William and George Brankle, Mrs. John Miner, Mrs. John Webber, all of Windfall, and Mrs. John Reynolds of Kokomo; a son, Charles of Windfall, by his first wife: another son, Denney of Middleton, by his second wife and one grandson. Both wives are deceased. The remains were removed to the Modern funeral Home to be prepared for burial and arrangements for the funeral will be announced later. Caspar aged 83y, 6m, 18d.
