Description	:	WIGHT, CASSIE MARY — Cassie Mary Fauber, was born August 1st, 1854, in Lorraine County, Ohio. She passed away at the home of her son Harry near Ong, Neb., May 15, 1942, at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 15 days, after an eight week illness resulting from a broken hip. She was united in marriage to Frank Wight August 31, 1873, in Lorraine County, Ohio, and the next spring moved to a farm near Belvidere, Neb. Four children were born to this union. She passed away at the home of her son Harry near Ong, Neb., May 15, 1942, at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 15 days, after an eight week illness resulting from a broken hip. She was united in marriage to Frank Wight August 31, 1873, in Lorraine County, Ohio, and the next spring moved to a farm near Belvidere, Neb. Four children were born to this union. Verna, who died in infancy, Mabel, who died at the age of nine, Bert, who died at Lexington in 1920, and Harry, who now lives near Ong. In 1890 the family moved to Geneva and in 1909 to a ranch near Lemoyne, Neb. She resided there until the time of her husband’s death in March 1939. Since then she had made her home with her son Harry. She leaves to mourn her passing, one son, Harry of Ong, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Harry Wight home with Rev. S. W. Longacre in charge. Pallbearers were Ralph McCloughan, Ernest and Oscar Nelson, Charles Smith, Simon Urbauer and Joe Anderson. Burial was in the Geneva Cemetery beside her husband.
