Description	:	Catherine Frances Maloney was born September 28, 1864 at Joliet, Illinois, the youngest child of Winifred and Mathew Maloney, who were wed in Ireland and came to America soon after. She died at Page, April 10, 1931 at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 12 days. Read More	Catherine Frances Maloney was born September 28, 1864 at Joliet, Illinois, the youngest child of Winifred and Mathew Maloney, who were wed in Ireland and came to America soon after. She died at Page, April 10, 1931 at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 12 days. Deceased was baptized in the Catholic faith, firmly adhered to the teaching of this church throughout her life and was consoled with it ministrations ere passing away. Rev. Father Cassidy of O'Neill being with her at the last. Her mother having died when deceased was a small child, she spent her early life with a sister in Chicago. Her father pioneered in Washington county, this state, when Indians were frequent visitors at settlers' homes. She was married November 10, 1887 to Frank Watson at Herman, Nebraska. To this union were born seven children, six of whom survive, Herbert dying several years ago. Thirty years ago, deceased come with her husband and family to this vicinity and located on a farm two miles east of Hering's Mill, where they continued to reside until a few years ago, when they moved to Orchard and later to a farm near Page, where she was living at the time of her last illness, death resulting from blood poisoning. Mrs. Watson was a woman of beautiful character, whose life was a blessing to those which whom she was associated. She was not only greatly beloved in her immediate family circle, but was spoken of by all who knew her as a gentle lady of exceptional sweetness and charm. She was a the devoted wife, the ideal mother and the sincere friend. Her untimely passing came as a distinct shock to relatives and friends for she had been in almost perfect health until a few days preceding her death. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Roy Richmond of Neligh were held at Millerboro, a country church midway between Royal and Creighton and near the former home of the deceased on Tuesday, April 14. Pallbearers, former neighbors in the Millerboro vicinity, were R.J. Hering, R. L. Clark, W. Morrison, A.E. Warner, D. Longcor, G.H. Wardell. Floral emblems were profuse and beautiful. Interment was made in the family lot at Millerboro. Besides the husband, the following children survive, Blanche Geer, Pender; A.F. Watson, White River, S.D.; R.M. Watson, Milesville, S.D.; Elsie Roark, White River, S.D.; E.L. Watson, Royal; Frances Anson, White River, S.D. There remain also sixteen grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers and a host of relatives and friends. Those from away who came to attend the funeral were, James Maloney, Pender; Martin Maloney, South Sioux City, brothers of the deceased; a sister, Mrs. Annie Hickey, Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Barnett and son, Meryl, Lawrence, Kansas; Mrs. Sadie Blackburn, Los Angeles; Frank Padden, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Conway, Pender; Mr. and Mrs. P.V.
