| Description | : | Catharine Lederer [Ledner]emigrated to the United States from Germany in 1849, when she was twenty years old. She was on the same ship as Gotleib Kneller, her future husband. Gotleib walked from New York to Columbiana County, Indiana where he tried to find work each day. On 18 September 1851, two years after arriving in this country, Catharine and Gotleib were married in Columbiana County, Ohio. The following year, they moved to Green Township, Noble County, Indiana. |
